Dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ Who loved us, gave Himself for us, and washed us from our sins in His own Blood; and to the Church, which is His body.

Jesus came to bring us abundant life  John 10:10.

This isn't just length of life, or even everlasting life; but it is quality of life as well. It is the meeting of every need with a lot more besides. He has destroyed all the works of the devil, the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy.

Jesus is able to completely save those who come to God through Him. The word "save" is SOZO and it means to save, heal, deliver, keep and make whole. Whatever we need He has it covered.

Jesus is making intercession for us right now. His very presence in heaven at the right hand of God the Father is our assurance, for the Father will not deny the Son.
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespassesMark 11:22-25

What we say is as important as what we believe. We must speak to the problems and command them to be removed. Believe that what we say will be done and we will have what we say.

We are to believe we receive when we pray!

Failing to forgive can hinder and block answers to prayer.
Asking in the name of Jesus means to ask as He would ask, according with His plans and purposes.

When we do, we can know that God hears us, that our desires will be fulfilled and we will receive whatever we ask.

Jesus' earthly ministry reveals His purpose and will regarding sin, sickness and disease. He never turned away anyone who came to Him for forgiveness or healing. It tells us that He forgave and healed all who came to Him and asked. So when we ask for forgiveness and need healing in our bodies we can ask in His name and be confident that we will receive.
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for youJohn 15:7.

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. John 15:16.

Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:23-24.

Jesus gave us the authority to ask in His name. As we abide in Him, we come to know Him more and more and our hearts become more like His heart.

When we let His words abide in us and instruct us, our desires are shaped by His desires and His purposes become ours. We begin to understand who He is and what H wants to do in us to bear fruit.
Jesus gives every believer the authority which comes from heaven and used on earth. When we use this authority, we are actually administering the things of heaven upon the earth.

Jesus' presence is the basis of this authority; He promised when only two or three are gathered in His name, He would be present.

To gather in His name means to be in touch with Him and agree with His plans and purpose and to act as He would act and ask as He would ask.

The 'whatever' and 'anything' when we pray means according to His will; so we can expect to receive.
Matthew 7:7-11 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Ask, Seek, Knock. Whenever you need anything, according to Go's will, go to the Lord for it. Ask boldly. Expect to receive whatever it is your are asking and find whatever you are seeking.

Jesus said that is exactly what will happen. God will freely open His door to you, because He is a good Father who gives good things to those who ask Him.

Every good and perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no shadow of turning James 1:17
Jesus not only became a curse, that the power of the curse over us might be broken; He also became sin, that the power of sin over us might be broken.

Jesus created the new covenant, a covenant based on the shedding of His blood at the Cross. We see this in the Lord's Supper Mark 14:22-24.

Hebrews declares that the new testament in Jesus' blood is even better that the sacrifices of animals blood in the old testament Hebrews 8:6. He is also mediator of the better covenant, which was established on better promises.

When we receive the Lord Jesus, we enter into a new covenant and a new righteousness; His righteousness. He accomplished it all for us, forgiveness of sins and healing for our bodies. This new covenant is no less a healing covenant than the old covenant. It is even better because Jesus Himself his the healer and is now in us by His Spirit.
Our God is a God of covenant. By His name, Yahweh, He entered into covenant with the children of Israel.

The book of Deuteronomy is the document of that covenant. Chapter 28 gives a series of blessings and curses. If His people obeyed His voice and kept His commandments, they would experience the His blessings.

If His people chose not to hear His voice or obey His commands, the would not experience His blessings. Outside the blessing, there is not left but the curse.

Sin, sickness and disease belonged to the curse. This requires a choice on the part of people. It is the covenant made with Moses.

A New and better Covenant is fulfilled in the Lord Jesus Christ.
He redeemed us from the curses of the old covenant by becoming a curse for us. He redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us, that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus Galatians 3:13,14.

God Who Forgives

The God Who Forgives expresses not only forgiveness of sins, but healing of sicknesses and disease. They are both in the atonement.

James says, "The prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed." James 5:15-16.

The God who forgives our sins is the same God who heals our sicknesses and diseases.
El Hay
The Living God

God, just like His Word, is living and powerful Hebrews 4:12. He is El Hay, the living God. To speak this name is to speak His awesomeness.

Hebrews 10:31 says, It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. But for those who know Him and call on His name, the living God is the God of life!

We trust in the living God, who is the savior of all mankind, especially of those who believe. Paul said that He is the living God who gives us richly all things to enjoy 1 Timothy 6:17.

They who trust in Him are children of the living God. God will not withhold His blessings from His children. We are the dwelling place for the God of life 2 Corinthians 6:16.

We have the very principle of life, God of life and life of God, at work in us. We do not need to tolerate sin and sickness any more; for the holy God who lives in us is also living and powerful and able to sanctify us.
El Elyon
God Most High

God Most High is the name which shows that He is Lord over all. He is the possessor of heaven and earth.

He establishes the inheritance and boundaries of the nations. He is the source of knowledge, revelation and counsel.

He is King over all the earth and He is also a refuge and fortress to deliver us from the enemy.

David said, "I will cry to the God Most Hight, to God who performs all thing for me."  The God Most High performs all things for us. There is no situation God cannot handle, no need He will not meet. He delivers us from evil, every plagues, sins and heals us from every disease.

Jesus is God Most High because He is seated at the right hand of the Father, far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
El Olam
Everlasting God

Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba and called on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God. Genesis 21:33

The covenant God made with him was everlasting. Those who believe in the Lord Jesus are descendants of Abraham. Galatians 3:29.

In Christ, we are heirs to an everlasting covenant with an everlasting God. The Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting Psalm 100:5. God's mercy is His covenant love and faithfulness. He has committed Himself to our well-being and He will not break His promise. Not ever!
El Shaddai
Almighty God

God revealed Himself to Abram [Abraham] as El Shaddai, the Almighty God and made a covenant with him. Abraham continued this covenant with Isaac and Isaac continued  the covenant with Jacob and Jacob spoke it over his son Joseph.

In the book of Job, Elihu understood El Shaddai as the one who gives, sustains and restores life.

In the Hebrew it means life preserved, life repaired, life made whole.

All who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are in this covenant with Almighty God. We are a part of the children of Abraham and heir with him to all the blessings of God.
Yahweh Shammah
The Lord is There

Looking toward a time of healing and restoration, the Book of Ezekiel closes with this name.

It is a name which signifies the glory of the Lord, His divine presence manifesting in power and purity. It is a healing presence, for there is no more place in it for sickness or disease than there is for sin.

They are overtaken by healing and wholeness. Jesus brings this joyful life-giving presence of God close to us.

All the fullness of God dwells in Christ and all the fullness of Christ dwells in us.
Yahweh Tsidkenu
The Lord Our Righteousness

The Hebrew word for righteousness speaks of that which is altogether right and just. It also refers to prosperity. Righteousness is God's way of doing and being right. It is His 'rightness'.

When we walk in His rightness, we experience His blessing and prosperity. Psalm 112 describes at length the blessing and prosperity of those who are righteous.

We are eligible  for every blessing and benefit that belongs to the righteous.
Yahweh Rohe
The Lord is My Shepherd

The shepherd takes care of the sheep, providing for every need. He satisfies their hunger in fresh green pastures. He quenches their thirst and refreshes them beside calm, cooling waters.

He restores them to wholeness. He guides and protects them and leads them safely through the valley of the shadow of death.

Isaiah 40:11 said "He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arms and carry them in His bosom".

Jesus said that He is the good shepherd and gave His life for the sheep. He is our shepherd, who brings us the abundant life of God.
We lack nothing!
Yahweh Sabaot
The Lord of Hosts

The Lord of Hosts is the name God wages warfare on behalf of His people. He reveals Himself as our faithful defender and the one who establishes justice for us.

There is also an indication of involvement associated with this name, for He is identified as our Redeemer. Isaiah 44:6 "Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:
I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God."

More specifically, He is our Kinsman Redeemer, the one who acts on behalf of his next of kin, to ransom, redeem, or deliver. A kinsman redeemer would buy back his relative's property or marry his widow, for the sake of the family and to protect their inheritance.

The Lord of Hosts is also identified as our husband. Isaiah 54:5 "For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name".
Yahweh Shalom
The Lord is Peace

In Judges 6:24, Gideon built an altar and called it The Lord is Peace.

The shalom, or peace of God, is wholeness and well-being. It signifies health, prosperity, safety, wellness, restoration and joy.

God desires to bless His people with peace.

A great exchange has taken place. Jesus was chastised in our place so that we might experience His peace and wholeness in our lives.

He took our sin and gave us His righteousness. He took our sicknesses and pains and gave us His healing and health.
Yahweh Qadesh
The Lord who Sanctifies You.

To be sanctified means to be cleansed and made holy, set apart for God's special purposes and promises.

It is signified by anointing oil.

The anointing removes the oppressive burdens and destroys the yoke.

James 5:14 "Is anyone among you sick [a burden or yoke]? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord." The anointing oil is a sign of God's sanctifying and presence.

Sanctification is for the entire person and includes all of God's promises.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it."
Yahweh Nissi
The Lord is my Banner

Moses built an altar and called its name. The Lord is my banner Exodus 17:15.

The altar was for giving God thanks after He gave victory to the children of Israel over the Amalekites. He called it Yahweh Nissi, for the Lord is my banner of victory and truth. It was a rallying place for His people.

When the Lord is our banner, we will have victory.

"If God be for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31.

"In all these these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us" Romans 8:37

"Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" 1 Corinthians 15:57.
Yahweh Rapha
The Lord who heals you

By this name, God reveals Himself as the One who brings healing to  all those who heed His words and walk in His ways.

Rapha means to mend, cure, heal, repair and make whole.

Psalm 103:1-3 "Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases. . ."

Psalm 107:20 "He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions."

1 Peter 2:24 "who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness, by whose stripes you were healed."
Yahweh Yireh
The Lord will provide.

Abraham in Genesis 22:14 gave this name as God had provided a ram for sacrifice in place of Isaac.

It literally means God beholds and perceives. Not just the nearness of God, but shows that He is present to provide whatever is needed. He sees the need and moves to meet it.

As God pointed to the ram for Abraham's need; He points us to the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ for our needs.

God has seen our needs and has already made provision for it. Jesus is the provision of God who opens the way for us to receive every blessing He has given us; but we must call on Him by faith to allow Him to be our  provider.
There are many names in the Old Testament in which God reveals Himself in ways that directly or indirectly concerns His blessings for us.

They are combinations of His personal name YAHWEH, which is the name He relates to us, His people and reveals His purposes. These names demonstrate both His greatness and goodness.

God not only desires wholeness of us, He is completely able and willing to bring it about.

"For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13. The Greek word for saved is sozo and it means to be saved, healed, delivered, restored, and made whole. We receive these blessings by coming into agreement with His name.

"Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name" Hebrews 13:15. The Greek for giving thanks means to confess  or agree with. By giving thanks to His name, we are exercising faith, agreeing with who He is and how He has revealed Himself.

This way, the names of God becomes pathways to His blessings.
"I am the Lord who heals you," Exodus 15:26.

Exodus 23:25-26  "So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days."

God desires for us to have "whole-life" in our body.

And John also expressed the will of God when he wrote "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper and be in health as your soul prospers" 3 John 2.
The Bible says, "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

With the heart we believe, with the mouth we confess. That's how faith works.
The ministry of Jesus on the Cross is the basis for all healing. It is in the atonement along with forgiveness of sins.

The Bible says "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation, for everyone who believes"
Romans 1:16

The Greek word for 'salvation' is sozo which means to save, heal, deliver, make whole and preserve.
Prayer is not intended to replace any current treatment. Do Not quit taking medication until a doctor is seen or has confirmed healing.

Watch for healing, not for symptoms of sickness. Begin by doing what could not be done before.

Confess any unconfessed sin, it could be an obstacle or blocking faith. 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Forgive others, unforgiveness can hinder prayers Mark 11:25 "And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses."

Sometimes there are demonic forces at work behind various sicknesses or conditions. They may be involved and must be expelled.

Any of these conditions above may be a problem if the healing manifestation is taking a long time.
Happy New Year 2015
