Dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ Who loved us, gave Himself for us, and washed us from our sins in His own Blood; and to the Church, which is His body.

READY FOR GOD TO MOVE!

"Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof,
the LORD that formed it, to establish it;
the LORD is his name;
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and

shew thee great and mighty things which
thou knowest not."
Jeremiah 33:2-3

When Jeremiah obeyed God, he delivered
a very unpopular message: Jerusalem
would be taken by Babylon.

Instead of responding to God's warnings,
the leaders sent Jeremiah to prison. It
must have seemed a hopeless situation
to him; but God spoke to him there.

God reminded him that He had created
the world. And that He was greater than
kings and nations. If Jeremiah would look
to Him, God would move in a new way and
shew him great and mighty things, which he
knowest not.

This encouraging word also applied to God's
people of Israel, because they also faced a
situation that seemed impossible. They
were opposed by the mighty army of Baby-
lon and God had warned of judgment for
their idolatry.

From prison, God's words must have
sounded unbelievable to Jeremiah. But
they were true. God could change any
situation.

These promises need to be remembered
when we look at the nation of Israel today.
They are surrounded by enemies and out-
numbered. But none the less, God still
loves them, and His promises are true. He
will fulfill His plan for them, no matter
how difficult it appears.

These words are also true for all of us!
No matter how overwhelming problems
may be or how impossible they may be
to solve. God is mighty! And more
powerful than any problem!
