"Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda.
There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed.
And Peter said to him, 'Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.'
Then he arose immediately.
So all who dwelt in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.'"
Acts 9:32-34
Peter said that Jesus the Christ had healed him.
He focused the man's attention on Jesus as the source of all healing and that there was no doubt that Jesus would heal him.
Peter told the man to arise and make his bed.
He expected Aeneas to be healed and told him to do what he could not do before.
Aeneas obeyed and arose immediately.
And all those who saw what had happened turned to the Lord [believed on Him].
