Prayer of Authority

"Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on
earth will be bound in heaven and whatever
you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on
earth concerning anything that they ask, it
will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together
in My name, I am there in the midst of them."
...............Matthew 18:18-20

Jesus gives authority to every believer.
It is an authority which comes from heaven
and is exercised upon the earth.
When we exercise this authority, we are
actually administering the things of heaven
upon the earth.

The basis of this authority is the presence of
the Lord Jesus.
He promised that when even only two or three
are gathered in His name, He is present in our
midst.

To gather in His name means to be in tune
with Him, aligned with His plans and purposes,
to act as He would act and ask as He would ask.

The 'whatever' and 'anything' in this passage
includes healing and prosperity.
Therefore, the authority Jesus gives us
includes the ability to bind sickness, loose the
infirmed, agree together for healing and
expect to see it happen.

This is a very necessary exercise of the name
of Jesus, because healing has always been an
important part of His authority.

To the woman with the spirit of infirmity, for
example, Jesus declared "Woman, you are
loosed from your infirmity"

LORD, Thank You for the authority that You
have given to each one of us as believers.
Thank You that we can bind and loose all
sicknesses and diseases and free each
other from them.
Thank You that the spirits have to obey us
in Your name.
We receive that authority now and use it to
help others.
...............In the name of Jesus!
