Dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ Who loved us, gave Himself for us, and washed us from our sins in His own Blood; and to the Church, which is His body.

Praying with Confidence

When we pray, expect to receive.
Hebrews says, "Without faith it is impossible
to please God, because anyone who comes
to him must believe that He exists and that
He rewards those who earnestly seek Him"
Hebrews 11:6

James says, "If any of you lacks wisdom,
he should ask God, who gives generously
to all without finding fault and it will be
given to him.
But when he asks, he must believe and
not doubt, because he who doubt, is like a
wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the
wind.
That man should not think he will receive
anything from the Lord; he is a double-
minded man, unstable in all he does."
James 1:5-8

We can't be divided about our prayers,
going back and forth, worrying about
whether or not they will be answered.
Faith pleases God and brings reward,
but doubt has no guarantee of receiving
anything from the Lord.
It is the prayer of faith that receives.
