The Lord our Shepherd has prepared a table for us, even in the presence of our enemies.
It is the place where all our needs are met.
It is the place where we are anointed with fresh oil.
It is the place where our cups run over.
It is the place from which the goodness and mercy of God follows us all the days of our lives.
It is the place where we can dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
It is the place of our health.
We can take our place at this table.
For as often as we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.
It is for us that He came.
It is for us that He died.
It is for us that He is coming again.
Communion is the sign of our victory in Jesus Christ over sin, sickness and everything that stand against us.
We proclaim this victory as often as we take the bread and the cup.
