Dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ Who loved us, gave Himself for us, and washed us from our sins in His own Blood; and to the Church, which is His body.

For Our Sins and Sicknesses

Jesus bore our sicknesses and pains in His own body in the same way He bore our sins.

"He was numbered with the transgressors and bore the sin of many", Isaiah 53:12.

The Hebrew word for 'bore' in each instance means to lift a burden and carry it far away.
When Jesus bore our sins, He lifted them off of us and carried them far away so we could be forgiven.
Also when He bore our sicknesses, He lifted them off of us and carried them far away so we could be healed.

We receive healing in the same way we receive forgiveness, by faith.

Healing and forgiveness go together, just as the body and the blood go together.

Psalm 103:2-3
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
            Who forgives all your iniquities,
            Who heals all your diseases"

Without the forgiveness of sins, there could be no healing of diseases.
