Dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ Who loved us, gave Himself for us, and washed us from our sins in His own Blood; and to the Church, which is His body.

Jesus the Anointed One

"And that very hour He cured many
of infirmities, afflictions and evil
spirits; and to many blind He gave
sight.
Jesus answered and said to them, 'Go
and tell John the things you have
seen and heard: that the blind see,
the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed,
the deaf hear, the dead are raised,
the poor have the gospel preached to
them.'"
Luke 7:22

John the Baptist had sent his disciples,
while he was in prison, to Jesus to see
if He was the Messiah or if they were
to look for someone else.
Jesus spent some time healing, and
working miracles before their eyes,
so they would go back and tell John
that He was who they have been looking
for.

Jesus Raises a Widow's Son

"Now it happened, the day after,
that He went into a city called Nain;
and many of His disciples went with
Him and a large crowd.
And when He came near the gate
of the city, behold, a dead man was
carried out, the only son of a widow.
And a large crowd from the city was
with her.
When the Lord saw her, He had
compassion on her and said to 'Do
not weep."
Then He came and touched the
open coffin and those who carried
him stood still.
And He said, 'Young man, I say to
you, arise."
So he who was dead sat up and
began to speak.
And He presented him to his mother."
Luke 7:11-15

Jesus told the woman not to weep
because He intended to raise him
back to life.
Jesus touched the coffin which was
considered ceremonially unclean.
But it wasn't an idle touch.
Jesus spoke the words commanding
him to arise.

Raising the Dead Today

"Jesus sent His disciples to 'heal the
sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the
dead, cast out demons"
Matthew 10:8

At the Great Commission, He told
them to make other disciples,
"teaching them to observe all
things that I have commanded you."
Matthew 28:20

This would include raising the dead,
nothing in the words of Jesus leaves
it out.
In fact, Jesus said,
"He who believes in Me, the works
that I do he will do also; and greater
works than these he will do, because
I go to My Father"
John 14:12

Jesus and His disciples raised the dead
and many other accounts have been
recorded in the history of the Church,
particularly in the last century.
We should expect to see this happen
more and more today.

The Same Spirit

"But if the Spirit of Him who raised
Jesus from the dead dwells in you.
He who raised Christ from the dead
will also give life to your mortal
bodies through His Spirit who dwells
in you."
Romans 8:11

The Spirit of God, whose power
raised the Lord Jesus Christ from the
dead, will one day give resurrection
life to our bodies too.
But that same Spirit also dwells in us
today.
His power is now in us and is able to
bring life and health to our bodies.

The Resurrection of the Dead

"But now Christ is risen from the
dead and has become the firstfruits
of those who have fallen asleep.
For since by man came death, by
Man also came the resurrection of
the dead.
For as in Adam all die, even so in
Christ all shall be made alive.
But each one in his own order:
Christ the firstfruits, afterward
those who are Christ's at His
coming.
Then comes the end, when He
delivers the kingdom to God the
Father, when He puts an end to
all rule and all authority and power.
For He must reign till He has put
all enemes under His feet.
The last enemy that will be destroyed
is death."
1 Corinthians 15:20-26

In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul teaches on the
resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ
from the dead and how that guarantees
the resurrection of all those who believe
in Him.

Raising the Dead

The Bible tells of several accounts in
which someone who died was brought
back to life.
Elijah brought the widow of Zaraphath's
son back to life in 1 Kings 17:17-24.
When the son of a Shunnamite woman
died, Elisha raised him from the dead
2 Kings 4:25-37.
A dead man who was thrown into the
grave, of Elisha, was resored to life
when his body came into contact with
the bones of Elisha 2 Kings 13:21-21

These people actually died and restored
back to life, but they were not resurrections.
The resurrection of God's people refers to
the transformation and glorification of the
body, of immortality, will never die.
The others eventually died again.

These Signs will Follow

"And these signs will follow those
who believe: in My name they will
cast out demons
They will lay hands on the sick and
they will recover."
..........Mark 16:17-18

The Great Commission is still suppose
to be operating in the Church today.
The authority of Jesus and the anointings
of the Holy Spirit are to be in effect also.

*Preaching the gospel to everyone
*Making disciples of all nations
*Baptizing them
*Teaching them to do the works of Jesus
*Being His witnesses
*Laying hands on the sick and healing them.
*Casting out demons

Jesus has chosen us to be with Him.
As we begin to know Him, love Him
learn from Him, and grow in fellowship
with Him, we should expect to see healings
and deliverances happen more and more.
We should not only expect to see or receive
these thing for ourselves,
but to be discipled to minister them to
others.

LORD,
Thank You for the Great Commission.
Thank You that we can do what You did.
We love You and expect to be like You.
Thank You for the power and authority
to do all Your works and to destroy the
works of the devil.
We praise and worship You for it!
..........In the name of Jesus!

Paul Heals Many

"Now God worked unusual miracles
by the hands of Paul, so that even
handkerchiefs or aprons were brought
from his body to the sick and the
diseases left them and the evil spirits
went out of them."
..........Acts 19:11-12

Just as there were many who touched
the hem of Jesus' garment and were
healed, healing power was transferred
from Paul through garments.

"In that region there was an esate of
the leading citizen of the island, whose
name was Publius, who received us
and entertained us courteously for
three days.
And it happened that the father of
Publius lay sick of a fever and dysentery.
Paul went in to him and prayed and he
laid his hands on him and healed him.
So when this was done, the rest of those
on the island who had diseases also came
and were healed."
..........Acts 28:7-9

Paul healing Publius' father was seen and
told by others.
Then many of them came to be healed.

LORD,
Thank You that You can heal everyone
through others and that includes us.
Help us see, hear and understand so that
we too can heal those who want to be well.
Your Word says that we shall lay hands on
the sick and they shall recover.
Thank You for that healing power and the
authority to do it.
..........In the name of Jesus!

Paul Heals Lame Man

"And in Lystra a certain man without
strength in his feet was sitting, a
cripple from his mother's womb,
who had never walked.
This man heard Paul speaking.
Paul, observing him intently and
seeing that he had faith to be healed,
said with a loud voice, 'Stand up
straight on your feet!'
Ande he leaped and walked."
Acts 14:8-10

The man had faith, as Paul saw, but
he needed to put it in action.
Paul could see that the man had the
faith to be healed, so he commanded
the man to do something to prove
his faith and the man was healed.

LORD,
Thank You for showing us that we
need to show or prove our faith by
doing something to bring our
healing into manifestation.
Glory to You Holy name Lord!
In the name of Jesus!

Disciple Received the same Anointing

"And through the hands of the
apostles many signs and wonders
were done among the people.
And they were all with one accord
in Solomon's Porch.
Yet none of the rest dared join them,
but the people esteemed them higly.
And believers were increasingly
added to the Lord, multitudes of
both men and women, so that they
brought the sick out into the streets
and laid them on beds and couches,
that at least the shadow of Peter
passing by might fall on some of them.
Also a multitude gathered from the
surrounding cities to Jerusalem,
bringing sick people and those who
were tormented by unclean spirits,
and they were all healed."
..........Acts 5:12-16

The transfer of healing power, even
through the shadow of Peter, was
similar to the transfer of healing
power which came from Jesus even
through His garment.

All were healed. The disciples had
the same anointing, power and authority
as Jesus did and so they were seeing
the same kind of results Jesus had.

LORD,
Your word shows us that all the
disciples had the same anointing and
authority and power that Jesus had.
Thank You that we have the same as
they all had.
Help us to operate in the anointing so
we can do the same things today for
those in need.
..........In the name of Jesus!

Disciples Received the Holy Spirit

"Now, Lord . . . grant to Your servants
that with all boldness they may speak
Your word, by stretching out Your hand
to heal and that signs and wonders may
be done through the name of Your holy
Servant Jesus.
And when they had prayed, the place
where they were assembled together
was shaken; and they were all filled
with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the
word of God with boldness."
..........Acts 4:29-31

Here they received the power of the
Holy Spirit for preaching [with boldness],
healings and deliverings.
The terminology of signs and wonders
includes healing, deliverance and other
miracles.

LORD,
Thank You that all the disciples received
from You and the Holy Spirit that day
also is for us.
Thank You Lord, for signs and wonders
that follow us when we preach, heal and
do miracles.
We worship and praise You continually
for Your power and authority and for the
Word of God.
..........In the name of Jesus!

In the name of Jesus

"Now was the lame man who was
healed held on the Peter and John,
all the people ran together to them
in the porch which is called Soloman's
greatly amazed.
So when Peter saw it, he responded to
the people: 'Men of Israel, why do you
marvel at this? or why look so intently

at us, as though by our own power or
godliness we had made this man walk?

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
the God of our fathers, glorified His
Servant Jesus. . . And His name, through
faith in His name, has made this man
strong, whom you see and know.

Yes, the faith which come through Him
has given him this perfect soundness in
the presence of you all."

..........Acts 3:11-13, 16

This healing was performed by the power
of God, in the name of Jesus, and through
faith in His name.

In fact, it was by the faith which comes
through Jesus, the same faith by which
Jesus ministered healing to others.

LORD,
We not only thank You for the power that
is in Your name, but for the faith that
comes in Your name.

Every healing and blessing comes by the
faith that is in Your name and we will
receive them everyday.

..........In the name of Jesus!

Peter and John Heals Lame Man

"Now Peter and John went up
together to the temple at the
hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
And a certain man lame from
his mother's womb was carried,
whom they laid daily at the gate
of the temple which is called
Beautiful, to ask alms from those
who entered the temple; who,
seeing Peter and John about to go
into the temple, asked for alms.
And fixing his eyes on him, with
John, Peter said, 'Look at us."
So he gave them his attention,
expecting to receive something
from them.
Then Peter said, 'Silver and gold
I do not have, but what I do have
I give you: In the name of Jesus
Christ of Nazareth, rise up and
walk.'
And all the people saw him walking
and praising God.
Then they knew that it was he who
sat begging alms at the Beautiful
Gate of the temple; and they were
filled with wonder and amazement
at what had happened to him."
..........Acts 3:1-10

Peter fully intended to give healing
to the lame man.
He released the power and the
authority of Jesus' name by saying
'In the name of Jesus'.
Peter expected the man to be healed
and told him to get up and the man
believed and obeyed by leaping up,
stood and walked.

LORD,
We appreciate Your name and the
power that is in Your name.
Thank You that we too can release
Your power through Your name in
faith and heal others and ourselves.
You have magnified Your Word
above Your name and both have the
power to heal and deliver.
Thank You and Praise Your mighty
Name!
..........In the name of Jesus'

Purpose of the Holy Spirit

The purpose of the Holy Spirit is to
be a witness to Jesus.
A witness is one who presents proof
or evidence.
Witnesses to Jesus present proof
that He is the Anointed One, the
Messiah.
We do this by preaching what Jesus
preached and doing what Jesus did,
which was to heal and deliver those
who were oppressed by the devil.

Luke's use of "signs and wonders"
goes back to Joel's prophecy, which
was recited in Acts 2: "I will show
wonders in the heaven above and
signs in the earth beneath" [v.19].
In the book of Acts, "wonders and
signs" generally meant healings and
deliverances.

LORD,
We appreciate and look in awe of the
signs and wonders we are seeing You
do in the world today.
We thank You for the ones that take
place in our own lives and for those
around us.
Thank You Lord, that we can depend
on You for every area of our lives.
We love You and trust You with our
lives and everything we need.
Thank You and You have our worship
and praise continually.
............In the name of Jesus!

Apostles do Signs and Wonders

"Then fear came upon every soul and
many wonders and signs were done
throught the apostles."
..........Acts 2:43

The Holy Spirit came upon the disciples,
not just the Twelve, but all of them.
This was the Promise of the Father.
And they would be endued with power.
They had received authority to preach,
heal and do deliverances just before
Jesus ascended to heaven.
Now they would receive power when
the Holy Spirit came upon them.
This is the same power that Jesus had
to heal and perform deliverances.

LORD,
Thank You that Your power and the
Holy Spirit is given to us as disciples
too.
We have the authority to do every
thing the first and all the other disciples
were able to do.
Help us to learn to walk and live in that
power everyday.
..........In the name of Jesus!

Jesus Gives the Holy Spirit

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he
who believes in Me, the works
that I do he will do also; and
greater works than these he will
do, because I go to My Father.
And whatever you ask in my
name, that I will do, that the
Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask anything in My name,
I will do it."
..........John 14:12-14

This is true for whoever believes in
Jesus.
They will be able to do His works
and even greater works.
This is because, when Jesus ascended
into heaven, He would send them the
Holy Spirit, who would empower them
for His works. preaching, healing and
delivering people from the oppression
of the devil.

"Then He said to them, 'Thus it is
written and thus it was necessary
for the Christ to suffer and to rise
from the dead the third day and that
repentance and remission of sins
should be preached in His name to
all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
And you are witnesses of these things.
Behold, I send the Promise of My
Father upon you; but tarry in the city
of Jerusalem until you are endued
with power from on high.'"
..........Luke 24:46-49

"But you shall receive power when the
Holy Spirit has come upon you; and
you shall be witnesses to Me in
Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria
and to the end of the earth."
..........Acts 1:8

Lord,
Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit
to help and to empower us.
We have the power now to do the works
You did and for even greater works.
By faith we can now overcome the world,
the flesh and the devil in Your name.
Thank You for loving and giving us so
much.
..........In the name of Jesus!

Jesus Commissions the Disciples

"And Jesus came and spoke to them,
saying, 'All authority has been given to
Me in heaven and on earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all
the nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe
all things that I have commanded you;
and lo, I am with you always, even to
the end of the age.'"
............Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus announced that all authority had
been given to Him and He gave that
authority to the disciples in the Great
Commission.
The disciples were to go and make more
disciples of all nations, teaching them
whatever Jesus had taught them,
including healing and delivering those
who were demon possessed.

"And He said to them, 'Go into all
the world and preach the gospel to
every creature. He who believes and
is baptized will be saved; but he who
does not believe will be condemned.
And these signs will follow those who
believe: In My name they will cast
out demons; they will speak with new
tongues; they will take up serpents;
and if they drink anything deadly, it
will by no means hurt them; they will
lay hands on the sick and they will
recover.'"
............Mark 16:15-18

Healing and deliverance belongs to
all those who are disciples of the Lord
Jesus Christ - not only the right to be
healed but also the authority to minister
healing and deliverance to others.
These things will follow those who will
believe, if those who believe are willing
to do what Jesus said.

LORD,
We are a part of those who have been
disciples of all the nations.
Thank You for the power and authority
that has been given to us to do the same
works that You gave to the first disciples.
And the same signs will follow us!
............In the name of Jesus!

Jesus Sends out the Seventy

"After these things the Lord
appointed seventy others also
and sent them two by two
before His face into every city
and place where He Himself was
about to go. . . .
'Whatever city you enter and they
receive you, eat such things as are
set before you.
And heal the sick there, and say to
them, 'The kingdom of God has
come near to you.'. . . .
Then the seventy returned with joy,
saying, 'Lord, even the demons are
subject to us in Your name.'"
............Luke 10:1, 8-9, 17

LORD,
Thank You that You have given all
that believe on You the power to do
what You did on this earth.
Thank You that demons, sicknesses
and diseases are subject to us in
Your name.
............In the name of Jesus!

Jesus Sends out the Twelve

"These twelve Jesus sent out and
commanded them, saying, 'And
as you go, preach, saying, ' The
kingdom of heaven is at hand.'
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers,
raise the dead, cast out demons.'"
Matthew 10:5, 7-8

"And He called the twelve to
Himself and began to send them
out two by two and gave them
power over unclean spirits. . . . .
So they went out and preached
that people should repent.
And they cast out many demons
and anointed with oil many who
were sick and healed them."
Mark 6:7, 12-13

"Then He called His twelve disciples
together and gave them power and
authority over all demons and to
cure diseases. He sent them to
preach the kingdom of God and to
heal the sick. . . .So they departed
and went through the towns,
preaching the gospel and healing
everywhere."
Luke 9:1-2, 6

LORD,
Thank You for the work that You
started with the disciples and now
have given to us.
Thank You for the power and the
authority over demons and over
all sicknesses and diseases and
over all the power of the enemy.
We love You and praise You for it.
In the name of Jesus!

Jesus Gave Disciples Power

"And He went up on the mountain
and called to Him those He Himself
wanted.
And they came to Him.
Then He appointed twelve, that they
might be with Him and that He might
send them out to preach and to have
power to heal sicknesses and the cast
out demon."
..........Mark 3:13-15

"Then Jesus went about all the cities
and villages, teaching in their
synagogues, preaching the gospel of
the kingdom and healing every
sickness and every disease among the
people.
But when He saw the multitudes, He
was moved with compassion for
them, because they were weary and
scattered, like sheep having no
shepherd.
Then He said to His disciples, 'The
harvest truly is plentiful, but the
laborers are few.
Therefore pray the Lord of the
harvest to send out laborers into His
harvest.'
And when He had called His twelve
disciples to Him, He gave them power
over unclean spirits, to cast them out
and to heal all kinds of sickness and
all kinds of diseases."
..........Matthew 9:35-10:1

LORD,
Thank You for giving Your power to
heal others to the disciples and to
us.
Thank You that we can lay hands on
the sick, diseased and hurting and
they shall recover.
We will use that power to help those
who need it and receive healings for
ourselves.
Bless the name of the Lord!
..........In the name of Jesus!

Jesus Chose Disciples

Jesus chose the disciples that they
might be with Him - to know Him,
love Him, learn of Him, and grow
in fellowship with Him.
He chose them, also, that He might
send them out into the world to
preach, to heal and to cast out, or
expel demons.
He gave them power to do it,
He sent them out to do it,
and they went out and did it.
In this way, He chose to multiply
His ministry in the world and
advance the kingdom of God.

After His resurrection and before
He ascended into heaven,
He gave His disciples the Great
Commission.
He gave them authority and said
that they would receive power, the
Holy Spirit coming upon them.
They were to be witnesses to Him,
to preach the Gospel to everyone,
to mke disciples of all the nations,
to baptize them and to teach them
to obey and do all that they them
selves had received from Jesus.

This was and is to be a continuing
succession of disciples, all doing the
works Jesus did, all having authority
and power for preaching, healing and
delivering [cast out demons].
As they preached the Gospel, there
would be signs to follow those who
believed.
These signs included healing and
deliverance, the same things Jesus
did.

Jesus did many other Signs

"And truly Jesus did many other signs
in the presence of His disciples, which
are not written in this book; but
these are written that you may believe
that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God
and that believing you may have life
in His name."
..........John 20:30-31

"And there are also many other things
that Jesus did, which if they were
written one by one, I suppose that
even the world itself could not
contain the books that would be
written."
..........John 21:25

LORD,
Thank You for all Your healing signs
and wonders.
Thank You for going about doing
good, healing all who were oppressed
by the devil.
Your works are more than can be
numbered and they continue to this
day, for You are the same Jesus, now
as then.
We receive Your signs.
Thank You for the life that we have
in You.
..........In the name of Jesus!

Jesus is the Messiah

"Then the disciples of John reported
to him concerning all these things.
And John, clling two of his disciples
to him, sent them to Jesus, saying,
'Are You the Coming One, or do we
look for another?'
When the men had come to Him,
they said, 'John the Baptist has sent
us to You, saying, 'Are You the Coming
One, or do we look for another?'

And that very hour He cured many of
infirmities, afflictions and evil spirits;
and to many blind He gave sight,
Jesus answered and said to them,
'God and tell John the things you have
seen and heard: that the blind see,
the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed,
the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the
poor have the gospel preached to them."
.....Luke 7:18-22; Matthew 11:1-5

Jesus began ministering by saying that
He was anointed by God to preach the
Good News to the poor, heal the
brokenhearted, give sight to the blind
and free the captives.
Now nearing the end, He presented John
with the proof that He is the Messiah,
the Anointed One.

LORD,
Thank You for proving to the world
that You are the Messiah, You are
the Anointed One.
You leave us no doubt that all the
prophecies of Your coming is true.
Thank You that today we can live
and have every one of Your promises,
and benefits in our lives.
You are the supernatural God of the
the Kingdom of God.
We love and worship to everyday for
the truths in Your Word.

Jesus Heals Them All

"And Jesus went about all Galilee,
teaching in their synagogues, preaching
the gospel of the kingdom and healing
all kinds of sickness and all kinds of
disease among the people.
Then His fame went throughout all
Syria; and they brought to Him all
sick people who were afflicted with
various diseases and torments and
those who were demon-possessed,
epileptics and paralytics; and He
healed them."
..........Matthew 4:23-24

"Then Jesus went about all the cities
and villages, teaching in the synagogues,
preaching the gospel of the kingdom and
healing every sickness and every disease
among the people."
..........Matthew 9:35

"And when Jesus went out He saw a
great multitude; and He was moved
with compassion for them and healed
their sick."
..........Matthew 14:14

"Jesus departed from there, skirted the
Sea of Galilee and went up on the
mountain and sat down there.
Then great multitudes came to Him,
having with them the lame, blind, mute,
maimed and many others; and they
laid them down at Jesus' feet and He
healed them.
So the mutlitude marveled when they
saw the mute speaking, the maimed
made whole, the lame walking and the
blind seeing; and they glorified the God
of Israel."
..........Matthew 15:29-31

"And He came down with them and stood
on a level place with a crowd of His disciples
and a great multitude of people from all
Judea and Jerusalem and from the seacoast
of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him
and be healed of their diseases, as well as
those who were tormented with unclean
spirits. And they were healed.
And the whole multitude sought to touch
Him, for power went out of Him and healed
them all."
..........Luke 6:17-19; Mark 3:7-10

"And the apostles, when they had returned,
told Him all that they had done.
Then He took them and went aside privately
into a deserted place belonging to the city
called Bethsaida.
But when the mutitudes knew it, they
followed Him; and He received them and
spoke to them about the kingdom of God,
and healed thoses who had need of healing."
..........Luke 9:10-11

LORD,
Thank You that You never turned away
anyone who came to You or was brought to
You for healing.
You were moved with compassion and healed
those who had need of healing.
Whole multitudes came and touched You and
received because healing power would go out
of You.
You healed every sickness and every disease.
You made the lame to walk,
the blind to see,
the deaf to hear,
the mute to speak,
and the maimed were made whole.
You healed them all!!!
Lord, we come to You today for healing and
we believe with all our hearts that we will
receive, for You are the same, yesterday,
today and forever.
Thank You for Your healing power every
day.

Jesus Heals Man Born Blind

"Now as Jesus passed by,
He saw a man who was blind from birth.
And His disciples asked Him, saying,
'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his
parents, that he was born blind?'
Jesus answered, 'Neither this man nor
his parents sinned, but that the works
of God should be revealed in him I must
work the works of Him who sent Me while
it is day; the night is coming when no one
can work. As long as I am in the world, I
am the light of the world.'
When He had said these things, He spat on
the ground and made clay with the saliva;
and He anointed the eyes of the blind man
with the clay.
And He said to him, 'Go, wash in the pool
of Siloam' (which is translated, Sent).
So he went and washed and came back
seeing."
..............John 9:1-7

Jesus proved that healing reveals the works
of God.
The man obeyed what Jesus told him to do
by going to the pool and washing; then he
came back seeing.

LORD,
Thank You that You came to do the works
of the Father.
Thank You that our healings reveals Your
glory and goodness.
We receive Your healing anointing now.

Jesus Heals Man at Pool

"After this there was a feast of the Jews
and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep
Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew,
Bethesda, having five porches.
In these lay a great multitude of sick
people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting
for the moving of the water.
For an angel went down at a certain
time into the pool and stirred up the
water; then whoever stepped in first,
after the stirring of the water, was made
well of whatever disease he had.
Now a certain man was there who had
an infirmity thirty-eight years.
When Jesus saw him lying there and
knew that he already had been in that
condition a long time, He said to him,
'Do you want to be made well?'
The sick man answered Him, 'Sir, I
have no man to put me into the pool
when the water is stirred up; but while
I am coming, another steps down before
me.
Jesus said to him, 'Rise, take up your
bed and walk.'
And immediately the man was made well,
took up his bed and walked."
..........John 5:1-9

Previously, the man had focused on a
particular method of healing, but now
Jesus focused his attention on the Healer.
The man obeyed Jesus and did what he
could not do before.

LORD,
Thank You that we can focus on You Lord,
and not on other methods, for You are our
healer.
We want to be made well!
In Your name we are made whole, by
Your word, by Your blood and by Your
power!
Thank You!

Jesus Heals Ten Lepers

"Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem
that He passed through the midst of
Samaria and Galilee.
Then as He entered a certain village, there
met Him ten men who were lepers, who
stood afar off.
And they lifted up their voices and said,
'Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!'
So when He saw them, He said to them,
'Go, show yourselves to the priests.'
And so it was that as they went, they
were cleansed.
And one of them, when he saw that he
was healed, returned and with a loud
voice glorified God and fell down on his
face at His feet, giving Him thanks.
And he was a Samaritan.
So Jesus answered and said, 'Were there
not ten cleansed?
But where are the nine?
Were there not any found who returned
to give glory to God except this foreigner?'
And He said to him, 'Arise, go your way,
Your faith has made you well.'"
..........Luke 17:11-19

Lepers were to show themselves to the
priests only if they were cleansed of
their leprosy.
They were healed as they went.
Faith acknowledges the work of God with
thanksgiving.

LORD,
Thank You for our healings, daily!

Jesus Heals Woman with Infirmity

"Now He was teaching in one of the
synagogues on the Sabbath.
And behold, there was a woman who
had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years
and was bent over and could in no way
raise herself up.
But when Jesus saw her, He called her
to Him and said to her, 'Woman, you
are loosed from your infirmity.'
And He laid His hands on her and
immediately she was made straight
and glorified God.
But the ruler of the synagogue answered
with indignation, because Jesus had
healed on the Sabbath; and he said to
the crowd, 'There are six days on which
men ought to work; therefore come and
be healed on them and not on the
Sabbath Day.'
The Lord then answered him and said,
'Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on
the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from
the stall and lead it away to water it?
So ought not this woman, being a daughter
of Abraham, whom Satan has bound,
think of it, for eighteen years, be loosed from
this bond on the Sabbath.'
And when He said these things, all His
adversaries were put to shame; and all the
glorious things were done by Him."
..........Luke 13:10-17

The word 'ought' shows, not only the
appropriateness of healing God's people,
it demonstrates the obligation to heal God's
people.
God's people have a right to receive healing.
It's our covenant right, we are the sons and
daughters of Abraham.
He has given believers the same authority
to bind and to loose.

LORD,
You keep all Your covenant promises.
You heal the brokenhearted and set the
captives free.
You loose us from all our infirmities and
by Your grace we can stand up straight
and tall.
Thank You for healing us everyday!
