Authority for Healing

"Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them."
Matthew 18:18-20

Jesus gives authority to every believer!

It's an authority which comes from heaven and is exercised on earth.

When we exercise this authority, we are actually administering the things of heaven on earth.

The presence of the Lord Jesus is the basis of this authority.
He promised that if only two or three are gathered in His name, He is present with us.

The "whatever" and "anything" includes healing.

The authority Jesus gives us includes the ability to bind sicknesses, loose those infirmed, agree together for healing, and expect to see it happen.

This is a very appropriate use of the name of Jesus, because healing has always been an important part of His authority.
