Dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ Who loved us, gave Himself for us, and washed us from our sins in His own Blood; and to the Church, which is His body.

Faith by Hearing

"Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
Romans 10:17

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Hebrews 11:1

"Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."
Hebrews 11:6

"This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith."
1 John 5:4

Faith pleases God!

Faith is believing what God says and that pleases Him.

As we listen to His Word, the Holy Spirit makes faith come alive in our hearts.

Faith is active.

To exercise faith is to diligently seek after God, agreeing with His Word, and saying what He says.
This is how we receive the promises in His Word.

Faith is substance.

The Greek word for substance means it  is the underlying reality of a thing.

We have a positive expectation, a joyful anticipation, that we are going to see the thing and enjoy its benefits, is what the Greek word for hope means.

Faith is the victory that overcomes sickness.

In the healing stories of Jesus, He often said to those who were healed, 'Your faith has made you well'.

Faith for healing is believing and receiving the victory Jesus has won over sin and death.
