Jesus Heals a Demonized Mute

"As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed.
And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke.
And the multitudes marveled, saying, 'It was never seen like this in Israel!'"
Matthew 9:32,33

Many times it is found that an affliction is the result of a demonic influence.

But Jesus has authority to cast out demons.
He was anointed by God to proclaim freedom for the captives, and to set at liberty those who are oppressed.

Believers also have been given authority to cast out demons in His name. 

By bringing the man to Jesus for healing they were releasing their faith.

Jesus exercised power and authority to cast out the demon.

The man who was mute opened his mouth and spoke.
