"When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you and will multiply you exceedingly."

God revealed Himself to Abram [later Abraham] as El Shaddai, Almighty God, and made a covenant with him.
Abraham confirmed this covenant to Isaac and Isaac confirmed it to Jacob: "May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multipy you. . and give you the blessing of Abraham"

Likewise, Jacob spoke the blessing of El Shaddai over his son Joseph:
"By the God of your father who will help you, And by the Almighty who will bless you with Blessings of heaven above, Blessings of the deep that lies beneath, Blessings of the breasts and of the womb."

In the book of Job, righteous Elihu understood El Shaddai as the one who gives, sustains and restores life.
"The Spirit of God has made me and the breathe of the Almighty gives me life"

In the Hebrew, this is life preserved, life repaired, life made whole.
El Shaddai is a refuge in time of trouble.
"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty"

All who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are in covenant with Almighty God.
We are part of the 'multiplication of Abraham' and heir with him to all the blessings of God.
El Saddai is faithful to His covenant. He is our continual refuge in every need and He is mighty to sustain and restore us to wholeness.
LORD, Almighty God, Our covenant God.
You are faithfull.
You give us life.
You sustain us.
You restore us.
You are our refuge.
We abide in the shadow of Your presence and are made whole.
You multiply us and give us increase.
You bless us.
You prove You are El Shaddai, Almighty God!
