"The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall not want."

The shepherd takes care of the sheep, provides for their every need.
He satisfies their hunger in fresh, green pastures.
He quenches their thirst and refreshes them beside calm, cooling waters.
He restores them to wholeness.
He guides and protects them and leads them safely throught the valley of the shadow of death.

"He will feed His flock like a shepherd;
He will gather the lambs with His arms and carry them in His bosom"
...............Isaiah 40:11

Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep"
...............John 10:11

The devil is a false shepherd, a thief who comes only to steal, kill and destroy the sheep.
But Jesus "I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly"
...............John 10:10

Jesus is our Shepherd who brings us the abundant life of God.
There is healing and wholeness in Him and no lack at all.

LORD, Our Shepherd, how faithful are Your lovingkindnesses and tender mercies.
You satisfy our desires with good things and give us peaceful rest in green pastures.
You refresh and restore us beside calming waters.
You lead us and protect us all along the way.
You prepare a table for us before our enemies who are watching us.
You anoint us with fresh oil and we are filled with Your abundance.
Goodness and mercy follow us constantly.
We are made whole and lack nothing your You are our Shepherd!
