For Our Sins and Sicknesses

Jesus bore our sicknesses and pains in His
own body in the same way He bore our
sins.
"He was numbered with the transgressors
and bore the sin of many"
Isaiah 53:12

The Hebrew word for "bore" in each case
means to lift a burden and carry it far
away.
When Jesus bore our sins, He lifted them
off of us and carried them far away so we
could be forgiven.
Same when He bore our sicknesses, He
lifted them off of us and carried them far
away so we could be healed.
We receive this healing in the same way
we receive forgiveness---by faith.
