Luke 22:19 says, "This is my body which
is given for you."
The "breaking" of bread is actually the giving
of bread.
The body of Jesus was given on the cross,
but it was not broken.
"Many are the afflictions of the rightous,
but He delivers them out of them all.
He guards all his bones; not one of them
is broken."
Psalm 34:19-20
John's account of the crucifixion, "But when
they came to Jesus and saw that He was
already dead, they did not break His legs.
For these things were done that the
Scripture should be fulfilled, 'Not one of
His bones shall be broken'"
John 19:33-36
